SBCC Cosmetology Students Participate with PTA Community Activity


SBCC Cosmetology Students were invite by the PTA from Franklin Elementary School in Santa Barbara to Participate on their carnaval. Hair cuts were give to the public at the minimum cost of $5.00 (five dollars each)

A group of 12 students attended and give Hair cuts to the public, under the supervision of Juana Hernandez one of the Cosmetology Instructors at SBCC. the original plan was from 3:00pm to 6:00p.m but the response was so great that we had a line of people waiting, we finish at 7:00p.m

Some people were not able to get their haircut at this time. We invited them to visit us at the Magnolia Shopping center: 5160 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara, Ca 93111 P: (805) 683-4191 walk in or make an appoinment.
The activity was a reguarding experience according to the students and teacher comments. They looking forward to be able to participate in similar activities.
